Lone Star Farms is a sheep and beef cattle farming enterprise consisting of eight properties – one in the North Island and seven in the South Island of New Zealand.
Sheep breeding and prime lamb production make up a large proportion of our business.
Collectively, the business runs 130-140,000 stock units on average throughout the year, primarily sheep (80%) and cattle (20%). The farms and the head office (in Nelson) employ 40 permanent staff.
