All our wool produced is accredited with ZQ (the world’s leading ethical wool brand). ZQ is an established grower standard, owned and operated by The New Zealand Merino Company Ltd and is recognised by the ISO/IEC 17065:2012 standard.

All our meat processed through Alliance Group is accredited to the Alliance Group Farm Assurance Programme. This sets standards for health, nutrition, food, shelter, yarding, stockman ship and transport.

Enhanced standards:
Barewood is a pilot farm for the ‘next level’ industry wide farm assurance scheme known as NZ Farm Assurance Plus. Caberfeidh is also participating in the development of New Zealand Merino’s ZQ^RX programme.
